In order to bring your above 7,5 Joule air rifles to Hungary you have to do the following (if you do not have the EU Rifle Passport):

• provide us with your data and with the rifle's data on the registration site
• send us some scanned document proving that you are a licenced FT shooter (specified later).
• pay the fee for this official paper

We will arrange the rest four you. 

Latest time for providing these data is: 1st August , 2010.

1. If your rifle is over 7,5 Joule (maximum 16,3 joule is allowed at the Hungarian FT Open)...

1.1 ... and if you are a non-EU resident:
In this case please register as soon as possible on the website of the FT Worlds 2010 - Hungary.
On the registration site please provide the following data: 

• your name (given name, and surname),
• your nationality
• your official address and postal address
• place of birth,
• date of birth,
• number of your Passport,
• your email address
• your mobile phone number
• your national Filed Target shooting licence number
• make of your rifle,
• type of your rifle,
• caliber of your rifle,
• factory serial number of your rifle.
• a scanned copy of the certificate from your country Field Target Association that your rifle is suitable for Field Target purposes, and that you are a Field Target Shooter, and that you do not need any permit to legally possess this air file in your country (with reference to the appropriate paragraph of the Firearm Act).

Based on this we will arrange the import permit at the local police station in Hungary. This official administration will cost you additional 20 EURO per rifle(!). We will pay this fee to the police instead of you, but you will have to pay this fee for us in advance with the registration fee. If you - for any reason - would like to cancel the registration, there is no refund regarding this rifle import permit fee.

The permit will be sent to you by post.

When you arrive to Hungary you have to stop at the customs office, and show the following papers to the officer:  

• this rifle import permit
• the letter of invitation
• the above certificate from your country Field Target Association When you leave Hungary, you also have to stop at the customs office, and provide the police permit again, that will be taken from you.

1.2 ... and if you are an EU resident, and you have a European International Firearm permit (EU Rifle-Passport)
In this case please register as soon as possible on the website of the FT Worlds 2010 Hungary
On the registration site please provide the following data:

• your name (given name, and surname),
• your nationality
• date of birth
• the number of your Passport (or ID card)
• your email address
• your address, and postal address
• your mobile phone number
• your national Filed Target shooting licence number
• number of your international firearm permit

We will prepare a letter of invitation for the event and we will mail it to you.

In order to legally possess the rifle in Hungary you will need the following documents with you:

• your international firearm permit (rifle-passport)
• a technological certificate of your rifle (or equivalent if you have a certificate from your country Field Target Association that your rifle is suitable for Field arget purposes, and that you are a Field Target Shooter)
• a letter of invitation (we will send it to you)

1.3 ... and if you are an EU resident, and you can legally possess an air rifle above 7,5 Joule without any permit in your country
In this case please register as soon as possible on the website of the FT Worlds 2010 - Hungary.
On the registration site please provide the following data:  

• your name (given name, and surname),
• your nationality
• your official address and postal address
• place of birth,
• date of birth,
• number of your Passport (or ID card),
• your email address
• your mobile phone number
• your national Filed Target shooting licence number
• make of your rifle,
• type of your rifle,
• caliber of your rifle,
• factory serial number of your rifle.
• a scanned copy of a certificate (peace of paper with a signature and a stamp) from your country Field Target Association that your rifle is suitable for Field Target purposes, and that you are a Field Target Shooter, and that you do not need any permit to legally possess this air file in that country.

Based on this we will arrange the import permit at the local police station in Hungary. This official administration will cost you additional 20 EURO per rifle(!). We will pay this fee to the police instead of you, but you will have to pay this fee for us in advance with the registration fee. When in Hungary please always have these with you if the police stops you:  

• letter of invitation
• rifle import permit
• the above certificate of the country Field Target Association.

2. If you have an air rifle below 7,5 Joule:
Please register as soon as possible on the website of the FT Worlds 2010 - Hungary.
On the registration site please provide the following data:

• your name (given name, and surname),
• your nationality
• your official address and postal address
• place of birth,
• date of birth,
• number of your Passport (or ID card),
• your email address
• your mobile phone number
• your national Filed Target shooting licence number

We will prepare a letter of invitation for the event as soon as the registration fee has arrived to our account.

According to this regulation if you have an air rifle below 7,5 Joule power you need only the following papers to be safe when the police stops you:  

• you either need a mark on your rifle engraved that shows that the rifle is below 7,5 joule or you need a certificate that prooves that the rifle is below 7,5 joule
• you either need a certificate from your country Field Target Association that your rifle is below 7,5 joule and suitable for Field Target purposes, and that you re a licensed Field Target Shooter.
• a letter of invitation (we will send it to you)
